A Love Lane staple for over 21 years, The Village Cheese Shop brings a taste of Europe to Mattituck, the heart of Long Island’s storied wine country on the North Fork of Long Island. Gathered from the far reaches of Europe and throughout the Americas are a vast selection of over 150 cheeses and accompaniments.

Open year-round, clients and guests enjoy a cultivated variety of beautiful cut-to-order cheeses and platters to delight in within the comforts of their own home.

Founded in 2001 by Rosemary Batcheller, The Village Cheese Shop was acquired by her friend and colleague, Michael Affatato, a cheese connoisseur and wine expert.
Affatato continues the legacy of the Shop- gathering visitors from near and far together with a bon vivant's passion for food, wine, and experiences shared.
